After weeks of productive break and various real life matters, I present some pictures from the recent Metro ComiCon at the SM Megamall Convention Center.
This is my first time attending a big local event and I could say that I quite had fun.
The Comicon.. of course is more about comics, but what I can see is that most of the cosplays and stuff are anime related. There were of course real comics and locally produced ones…

Seikan Hikou Filipino fandub by isakangtubo from YouTube, ang ayos dito si Megumi Nakajima ang kumunta ng original Japanese Version, kung hindi nyo kilala si Megumi, sya yung Seiyuu or Voice Actress para ni Ranka Lee and what’s more special is that she’s Half-Filipino. So nararapat lang na at least may local version yung kanta and so meron ako nahanap na masaya pakigan na Filipino Version.
Si Ranka Lee, kung pakigan ang pangalan ay parang Lanka or Langka, isa sya na Jack Fruit kung sa english… hehe…

And so once again, another ronery new year for Ichiro, but still he will be celebrating in the internets to enjoy the evening waiting for a precious new year. Haven’t gone outside, still can hear the fireworks earlier as expected, although the rain pours heavy the joy of the people from the neighborhood is not extinguished.

Anime Icon Gundam RX-78-2 built in free-standing life size scale for the 30th anniversary of Bandai has now been completed. The said Gundam is stationed at Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. The behemoth will stand 18 meters tall free from balancing support.
The Gundam is scheduled for public viewing this July 11 until August 31st, what is next is sure unkown, but perhaps it should not be dismantled and be kept for more viewing pleasures by otakus and the likes.

Yes, you’ve seen this before, from anime to real people, but wth is that? It’s the prominent Kira(twinkle) pose, by Ranka Lee.
But what does it mean? We have seen the V-sign for decades, most of us think that it means peace or victory. Some think it’s offensive, and some just doesn’t know what it is. Have you ever seen someone that whenever there’s gonna be a picture taking, they always do a V-sign? And thinking that, they’re just doing that to look Kawaii… Yep, I think that’s a trend. (ﾉゝ∀･)~Kira, just like the V-sign, it’s a way to look ultra Kawaii (if it fits you XD). But did you know that in the anime, the Kira pose became the quintessence of peace?
