After weeks of productive break and various real life matters, I present some pictures from the recent Metro ComiCon at the SM Megamall Convention Center.
This is my first time attending a big local event and I could say that I quite had fun.
The Comicon.. of course is more about comics, but what I can see is that most of the cosplays and stuff are anime related. There were of course real comics and locally produced ones…
Every year, there’s this this day where everyone makes a fuss about having dates, giving away flowers and chocolates and also raep. I guess this is the day where you can brag about having a girl and later raep her in a motel that smells like stinky used socks. As for me, I keep my day simple as my 2D waifus are here obligated in giving me chocolates for the occasion.
Since I love this show because of my waifu Merry, how about I share some Yumekui Merry wallpapers, backgrounds and other pictures for you to enjoy. You can view the big pictures by clicking on the image since what you see here are just caches or or scaled down images so that I can save bandwidth.

After repeatedly watching several Kuroneko videos, I finally decided to post some stuff. Been dying inside for a while because of these videos, plus it’s taking up much of my time for fawning at it for hours.
So much for that, just enjoy these videos below…

Here’s a figure rendition of Tony Taka’s popular Hatsune Miku illustration from the “Tony’s Heroine Works” compilation. This figure is a 1/7 scale PVC build by Max Factory with all details from the original illustrations intact such as the detailed transparent coloring and the delicious armpits. The Figure is expected to be available in stock this January

A quick stroll at the mall ended up making me buy a Nendoroid.
Going around the mall just to look at stuff and see what’s new, I ended up wandering inside the ‘Comic Alley’ store, there I saw this Reimu Nendoroid. Knowing that I don’t have this yet, I was quick to pull out some cash and buy it before losing it… Well I failed to buy that Miku Nendoroid the other day so that was regretful. Anyways, I bought the figure then tried to walk outside but ended up buying more posters and a Miku wallet. Such impulsive buying makes me not surprised as to why I’m always broke…

Lonely otakus who normally spend their summers alone must reconsider booking hotels and reservation at the beach, as Azu-nyan will come in ultimately-moe-beach-attire this coming may 2010.
The PVC Figure is a 1/10 scale of the loli Azusa Nakano of the moe blob anime, K-On! The figure would be approximately 160mm tall and would cost at around 3,800 yen to be released by Wave this May 2010.

Anime Icon Gundam RX-78-2 built in free-standing life size scale for the 30th anniversary of Bandai has now been completed. The said Gundam is stationed at Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. The behemoth will stand 18 meters tall free from balancing support.
The Gundam is scheduled for public viewing this July 11 until August 31st, what is next is sure unkown, but perhaps it should not be dismantled and be kept for more viewing pleasures by otakus and the likes.
This comprehensive gallery shows the iconic mecha in magnificent detail.
