Every year, there’s this this day where everyone makes a fuss about having dates, giving away flowers and chocolates and also raep. I guess this is the day where you can brag about having a girl and later raep her in a motel that smells like stinky used socks. As for me, I keep my day simple as my 2D waifus are here obligated in giving me chocolates for the occasion.

And so once again, another ronery new year for Ichiro, but still he will be celebrating in the internets to enjoy the evening waiting for a precious new year. Haven’t gone outside, still can hear the fireworks earlier as expected, although the rain pours heavy the joy of the people from the neighborhood is not extinguished.

Amazed by the quality of Jing Gong models on m4a1 Airsoft rifles, I took the chance to order one for myself, but after a long wait after the ‘gun ban’, my package has arrived. The rifle did not come with a box; instead it was in a black sack/bag that has strings as a garter that can close on one end. I pulled the gun out only to have a flat expression on my face. In my mind “I believe this isn’t what I ordered”; I looked inside for the manual and other stuff and saw something that would disappoint me, the manual clearly reveals it’s an A&K brand Airsoft rifle.
A quick stroll at the mall ended up making me buy a Nendoroid.
Going around the mall just to look at stuff and see what’s new, I ended up wandering inside the ‘Comic Alley’ store, there I saw this Reimu Nendoroid. Knowing that I don’t have this yet, I was quick to pull out some cash and buy it before losing it… Well I failed to buy that Miku Nendoroid the other day so that was regretful. Anyways, I bought the figure then tried to walk outside but ended up buying more posters and a Miku wallet. Such impulsive buying makes me not surprised as to why I’m always broke…

After a lot of downtime, server switches and bad database connections, Ichiro-Style! is back online. A few months have passed, but since then many things had happened with my life, from depression to withdrawal, rehabilitation to enlightenment, but whatever had happened at the end of the day, I still dreamt and pursued to be back online.

My first test of MikuMikuDance with Hakurei Reimu model and static JPEG Background. No dynamic camera angles, no lighting effects, just plain model and motion test for future productions. The background of the video is only a picture I took from my desk, I just estimated the angle for the 3d video.

Finally, Ichiro-Style has achieved its 100th post milestone. Since its inception from February, Ichiro-Style went through all the troubles from building a web page and setting up a server. There was one instance where the worst case scenario has transpired, the website got deleted without having back-ups and had almost zero chance of recovery (it’s a good thing that google is our friend), but this did not seem to stop Ichiro-Style, it even made us grow and improve (as you can see from the recent change from the theme). But all this hardships didn’t come to fruition without our beloved readers and friends (Special mention to Sankaku Complex and its constituents.) that linked us here.

So, not much new topics right now?
My site is undergoing maintenance and improvement, you can see that by the change in layout and contents.
Anyway, I’m going to be posting regularly next week, so don’t worry. I just need to sort these things out.

Ichiro-Style! is now being hosted in a reliable paid web server, that means this website will be guaranteed to be 99.9% online!
It took a while to get used to in the Control Panel, but it was all worth it, I had fun learning new things, specially how the ftp works and how I can transfer sql files.
Another advatage of the hosting is that I can host my own videos, mp3s and other files that can be downloaded, unlike in my old server (which is my workstation), the upload speed just can’t do it.
So thanks to everybody who goes to this site, I wouldn’t have gone this far without you
