Hmmmmm… idk…. none of them really captures the main selling point of Taiga. Her petite body size in addition to her look of contempt. Of all the Taiga cosplays, none of them really displayed either of that, especially that of the former.
The Ami cosplay and the Ryuuji cosplay are not really that great either. Since both of them have a dark dark blue hair colour, it is really unnecessary in my opinion to use a wig. It only adds to the unrealistic nature of the cosplay. In the case of the Ami one, even more so. Also, neither of them have the right form. In the case of Ryuuji, it’s just really awkward, especially with the platform shoes… I mean, it’s the same as that Clannad cosplay they had on sankaku. It just throws the viewer off. As for Ami, she is supposed to be a supermodel. With that, she should at least have the posture of one. To be physically picky, too, this cosplayer for Ami has a horrible body. Ami is supposed to have a really good body shape as well as being very slim. This is just phail.
As you can see, I am really picky about me cosplays =P… but then, I’ve always supported the fact that 2D > 3D so. If you wanna take 2D and put it into 3D, at least do a good job so you don’t make 3D look that bad. That’s my take on it.
