Was going to pay for the water bill, but after that I figured out that it might be a good chance to take some pics.
Okay, first behind me is the way to the Daraga Water District (where we apply for water connection). In that picture is the newly built commercial establishment, that’s where we are going to base our Starting point.
So let’s get it on! Iku!
2. So here’s the stairs going up to the Water Station
3. This is a long way up, it made me have cramps on my legs… It’s also too hot this day
4. Half way trough the top…
5. Another set of stairs. It feels like it never ends because of the heat, it takes more energy…
6. What the… It’s Gwapo (meaning handsome, it’s some silly nickname we gave to him), also from the water station paying their bill.
7. See the blue gate, that’s where the Water District is… Forgot to take pictures inside.. silly me..
8. Almost at the top!
9. At last! made it!
Was thinking where to go next, but I figured out it maybe a good idea to take pictures of the church
It’s 11 am-ish, it’s really hot at that time…
10. Took a picture of the town below
11. Here’s the old church… Haven’t been here for months or even a year if I remember… I’ve always thought they don’t close the front door…
12
13
14. Argghhhh.. The heat… Didn’t wear a cap nor brought an umbrella…
15
16. If you turn to your right side, you’ll see the Mt. Mayon
17. They say Mt. Mayon is the equivalent of Mt. Fuji of Japan.
18. We’re lucky to take a pic of her without completely being covered with clouds.
19
20. Another shot of the church…
21
22. Even the sides are closed…
23. That’s the Liñgon Hill, we live near that place… Hmm… I turned to the right and found a mysterious path way…
24. The pathway lead to this place. The structure in the picture is a Cell-Site, This is where we get our signals for our Cellphones…
25
26 Hm? I thought it was a dead end… There’s still a pathway? Let’s find out…
27. Turned to my left and found out about this…
28. Been living in this town for years, I didn’t know there was such place…
29. Followed the road… I wonder where this leads to…
30. OMG! Where am I?
31. Checking out….
32. Oh cool, A Tiger Cub.. Oh, I mean a puppy…
33. This… is getting interesting… Didn’t know there was such a place.
The path is so rocky, must watch step!
34. A way down?
35. What the? Some sort of a misplaced building?
36. Above is where we come from
Just look at this… We can reflect here about the economy…
37. Another long way down?
38
39
40. Oh cool, a road, I wonder where we are?
After that step, I became familiar already of the place… I really didn’t think that the path leads here…
41. There’s the building we saw earlier. I still don’t know where its entrance is…
42. Going trough that street is where we went down…
43. It’s the misplaced building!
44. Okay! Get on with the photo walk! Going forward would lead us to the same point we started…
45. This is the way up to the church…
46. At last! The same building we got off!
47. See the stairs. That’s where we climbed up. And on that street is where we walked going here. See the shadows? It’s dead noon! Hot!!!
48. On the other side of the building is the main road.
49. Crossed the street, It’s too hot on the other side…
50. Oh, vendors. There’s a lot more of them at the main market place.
51. See the trees? That’s were we took the picture of the other side of the building…
52. Jollibee!
53. Jeeps… They’re everywhere!
54
55. Jay Walkers!
See the road? Find something missing?
No lines!
56. This town is really dirty… One of the reasons why I don’t like walking around here…
57. The wet market
58
59. Somehow this reminds me of K-On!
I end my picture spree here.. I’m hungry and sweating all over at this point…
Just a little bit further is the new McDonalds, gonna eat there and rest. Ran Ran Roo!
nice photos :D
I really felt like I was walking along too :3
and.. WTH to that misplaced building XDDD! I wonder if the entrance is on the rooftop lol
LOL!!! I still can’t find out where the entrance is!
I bet people there are not used to a sudden photo shooting spree like you did…they’ll think of you as a nature (or urban) freak or an extremely serious photojournalist…
wo0p sha do0ps!
I reread the article and found out that you’re just using a 2 megapix cam, that would further add to the insult I’ve given you on the previous comment so I’ll just zip my mouth then.
\weaboo\ k0menasai! \weaboo/\
haha, wrong… people didn’t even care what was going on! XP
You must climb the Tower of Daraga!
what tower?
LOL no. Kip’s making a reference.
“Tower of Druaga” = “Tower of Daraga”.
Holy crap, how long did it take you to walk all that distance?? And looking at the skies and shadows, it looks like something about 30+ degrees Celsius Oo… holy crap. Must’ve been burning hot…
Nice pictures though =P. Quite a different feel than what I’ve seen… though in a good way.
it took us an hour to explore….
it’s about 35-40C
This looks like somewhere in Latin America. The similarities…
Favela?
he got me….
XD
